SPRING CONFERENCE DETAILS

 District Sessions:

UnConference: What is it? Think of it as a series of round table discussions where the agenda is all yours, literally. All session topics will be posted by the participants (YOU) the morning of the UnConference. (more information to follow or Google UnConference)

Luncheon: 

Trends Speaker: This year we are kicking off NSAC weekend with our Keynote Speaker. Trends in Advertising will bring insight to both professional and students.

Leadership Workshop:

 Jay Gudrud is a dynamic trainer and consultant who has been presenting for over fifteen years. His program challenges participants to eliminate the everyday roadblocks to their success.

 ADDY® Reception / 514 Studios:

We will serving light hors de oeuvres with wine and beer while we present the winning entries. ADDY© winners as well as club representatives will be on hand to accept the awards.(Registration includes transportation TO reception ONLY)

Dinner: (on your own)

At the conclusion of our ADDY celebration please enjoy a night on the town and check our one of the many fine establishments in the area. Please consult individual restaurants for reservations. If you'd like suggestions on specific food types - please don't hesitate to ask any of your D8 board members.

Breakfast / District 8 Annual Meeting

All D8 club members should join us for breakfast and our annual business meeting. We'll also provide some exciting news about the Fall 2013 Central Region Conference which will be held in Minneapolis!

National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC)

The NSAC will be held on the U of M Campus in Willey Hall, just a couple of short blocks from the hotel. This is an amazing experience for the students in our region and a great opportunity for you to see the future of advertising - everyone is HIGHLY encouraged to attend.  

We have intentionally planned our Spring Conference so that you can watch the competition. We can also use volunteers during the event. If you'd like to help, please contact Susan Levitte or LuAnn Yattaw on or before April 9th.

Box lunches will be provided at Willey Hall (Full registration-Option 1) during the presentation break around noon.

National Student Advertising Competition Awards Dinner

The NSAC Awards Dinner will be held at the Holiday Inn on Saturday evening following the competition. The event is the culmination of all the hard work the students have done. The Awards Dinner is an emotional and exciting event for all attendees! Please help to support and congratulate the students for all of their efforts and creativity.
